As a member of First Baptist Church since 1980 and Associate Pastor since 2009, Laurie watched in appreciation as Chuck Harper worked up the NOCC from just a dream spawned by his passion for the marginalized to the vital ministry it is today. Laurie provides technical and administrative help from his office at the church and volunteers when he can at Street Church. And sometimes he’s just an available ear to be bent as Chuck works through the details of the ministry or has a fresh insight for improving and expanding the chaplaincy.
